Short Bio-data:
Prof. Ip received his Ph.D from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). He is now a Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, and a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is also an Honorary Industrial Fellow of the University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group. Prof. Ip and his research team were awarded the "Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury" and "Thailand Award for Best International Invention from The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT)" at the 43rd International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. And in 2013, he obtained the Natural Science Award - Second Class, presented by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Prof. Ip has published over 300 papers with over 150 papers in SCI-indexed journals and has written various books and invited book chapters. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Enterprise Information Systems, Taylor and Francis publishing, and the Editor-in-Chief and Founder of the International Journal of Engineering Business Management, SAGE publication and editorial member of various international journals. He is a Distinguished Professor and Visiting Professor at various universities in Mainland China. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).


Dr. Vipul Jain,

Dr. Vipul Jain is an esteemed figure in academia, holding the position of Undergraduate Programme Director (Management) and Associate Professor specializing in Supply Chain and Logistics Management at the Wellington School of Business and Government. His extensive leadership experience includes serving as the Director of the Doctoral Programme from 2019 to 2022 and as the Research Director/Research Convener from 2017 to 2019. In these roles, he provided both strategic and academic guidance, shaping the direction of doctoral programs and contributing to the development of research strategies and policies within the School of Management. Beyond academia, Dr. Jain is deeply involved in research initiatives. He is a member of the Evolutionary Computation for Combinatorial Optimization research Group, focusing on computational algorithms and heuristics. Additionally, he serves as a research fellow for the New Zealand India Research Institute, contributing to research on India-New Zealand relations. His expertise in supply chain management extends to his role as a member of the College of Assessors, where he lends his insights as a supply chain management expert for the Ministry for Business Innovation and Enterprise in New Zealand. Dr. Jain's international experience is notable, having worked as a French Government researcher for INRIA in France and contributing to European Union-funded projects. At the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, he established and directed the Modeling and Analysis of Supply Chain (MASC) research lab, addressing real-life consultancy projects in collaboration with various industries. Throughout his career, Dr. Jain has demonstrated strong leadership, fostering collaboration, providing guidance, and promoting a culture of respect and teamwork within his research teams. Dr. Jain has supervised numerous students at various academic levels, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing the next generation of scholars. Prof. Dr. Srikanta Patnaik,

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is Professor & Director of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. He has supervised more than 30 Ph. D. Theses and 100 Master theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 100 research articles in international journals and symposium proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and 55 edited volumes and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc..Dr. Srikanta Patnaik is the Editors-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and, Editor of Journal of Information and Communication Convegence Engineering and Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (JIFS), which are all Scopus Index journals.He is also Editors-in-Chief of Book Series on “Modeling and Optimization in Science and Technology” published from Springer, Germany and Advances in Computer and Electrical Engineering (ACEE) and Advances in Medical Technologies and Clinical Practice (AMTCP), published by IGI Global, USA.He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He is also Fellow of IETE, Life Member of ISTE, and CSI. Dr. Patnaik has visited more than 20 countries across the globe and visiting professors to some of the universities.


Dr. Chun Ho WU,

Short Bio-data:
Dr. Wu is an Associate Professor in information systems management at the School of Decision Sciences, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He worked closely with many industrial partners to support and contribute to formulating their business strategies, operations improvement and new product development. Dr Wu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a PhD in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering. He regularly contributes to research papers on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), digital transformation and enterprise information systems. In collaboration with global scholars, e.g. UK and China, his project works and research outcomes have been presented at 15+ international conferences and published in 80+ international journals, of which 70 international journal papers are in SCI/SSCI journals. He is also the leading author of IoT: Collective Intelligence for Smart Cities (ISBN: 978-012-820139-8), and IoT for Elderly, Aging and eHealth - Quality of Life and Independent Living for the Elderly (ISBN: 978-303-093386-9). As he looks to the future, Dr Wu intends to continue researching smart logistics and manufacturing.
