The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Future Society (AIFS) has established a publication record through its conference proceedings being published in the Springer Learning and Analytics in Intelligent Systems (LAIS) book series, ensuring global visibility and academic recognition.
The proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Future Society (AIFS-2024) were published by Springer in the Learning and Analytics in Intelligent Systems (LAIS) series.
The proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Future Society (AIFS-2025) were also published by Springer in the Learning and Analytics in Intelligent Systems (LAIS) series.
The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed nearly every aspect of modern life, fundamentally reshaping how people communicate, learn, work, govern and interact with one another. Artificial Intelligence (AI), as a key driver of this transformation is creating unparallel opportunities for Innovation, Economic growth and Social Development across the globe. From intelligent healthcare systems and smart education platforms to autonomous transportation, sustainable agriculture and data-driven governance, AI is redefining the future of society. At the same time, the widespread adoption of AI technologies has introduced a range of complex challenges that require careful examination and responsible management. Concerns related to data privacy, cybersecurity, algorithmic bias, misinformation, digital inequality, ethical decision-making and national security have become increasingly significant in today's interconnected world. Recent developments have demonstrated that while technology can empower communities and improve quality of life, it can also influence public opinion, affect democratic processes and create new dimensions for individuals, organizations and governments. As AI systems become more autonomous and deeply integrated into societal structures, it is essential to establish frameworks that promote transparency, accountability, fairness and trust. It also requires an interdisciplinary approach that combines technological innovation with ethical, legal, social and economic perspectives. Understanding the evolving relationship between humans and intelligent systems is therefore one of the most critical priorities of the present era. The 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Future Society (AIFS) provides a global platform to explore these emerging opportunities and challenges while providing meaningful discussions on the responsible use of AI for societal advancement.
AIFS aims to bring together academicians, researchers, scientists, industry practitioners, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and students from around the world to exchange knowledge, share innovative ideas and present research findings in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The conference seeks to encourage scientific inquiry and promote technological developments that contribute to sustainable, inclusive and human-centered societal growth. It provides an opportunity for participants to discuss recent advances, emerging trends, practical applications, and future directions of AI across diverse domains. Through keynote addresses, technical sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and research presentations, the conference will facilitate intellectual engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration among participants. Special emphasis will be placed on exploring how AI can be leveraged to address real-world challenges in healthcare, education, agriculture, environmental sustainability, smart cities, governance, industry and public services. The conference will also examine the ethical, legal, and societal implications of AI deployment and its long-term impact on human well-being.
The 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Future Society (AIFS-2026) shall be organized by the Department of Computer Sciences & Engineering, Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India during November 6th and 7th , 2026. The conference provides a platform to discuss and share knowledge on information technologies, humanities, social sciences, arts and sciences. It includes broader societal and cultural impacts of Artificial Intelligence on people.
