Professor George A. Tsihrintzis,

Short Bio-data:
Prof. George A. Tsihrintzis received the Diploma of Electrical Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (with honors) and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from North-eastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is currently a Professor in The University of Piraeus, Greece and Head of its Department of Informatics. From 2008 to 2016, he also served as the Director of the Graduate Program of Study in “Advanced Computing and Informatics Systems” of the Department. His current research interests include Knowledge- based/Intelligent Software Engineering, Software Personalization, Information Retrieval from Databases, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Decision Theory, and Statistical Signal Processing and their applications in Multimedia Interactive Services, User Modeling, Knowledge-based Software Systems, Human-Computer Interaction and Information Retrieval. He has authored or co-authored over 300 research publications in these areas, which have appeared in international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, and has served as the principal investigator or co-investigator in several R&D projects. He has supervised 10 doctoral students who have received their doctoral degrees and is currently supervising an additional 5 students.

Prof. (Dr.) Rutuparna Panda,

Short Bio-data:
Rutuparna Panda (Member IEEE) was born in 1963. He received B.Sc Engg. (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) and M. Sc. Engg. (Communication Systems Engineering) Degrees from UCE Burla in 1985 and 1988, respectively. He obtained Ph.D. (Engg) degree from IIT, KGP in 1998. He is a former Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, VSS University of Technology, Burla. He was the former HOD ECE Dept., HOD CSE Dept., DEAN, Academic Affairs, DEAN, SRIC, and DEAN Continuing Education Programme. He has guided 38 M.Tech. Theses and 10 Ph.D. Theses. He has over 200 papers in International/National Journals and conferences. Dr. Panda has more than 4000 academic citations with h-index of 35 and i10-index of 70 as per google scholar. He is the co-author of two books titled “AI Techniques for Biomedical Engineering Applications” and “Region based Approaches for Image Fusion”. He is the co-author of 8 Book Chapters. Currently, Dr. Panda is serving as an associate editor of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (EAAI). He is a member of IEEE and a Fellow of IETE(India). He is the reviewer of many reputed international Journals like IEEE Transactions and Elsevier Journals. He received ‘Highly Cited Research Award’ in Dec. 2016 from Swarm and Evolutionary Computation Journal, Elsevier. He received ‘Certificate of Appreciation Award’ for quality research Journal Publications for the year 2020 from VSS University of Technology, Burla. His one article is found in top ten popular articles of IEEE Reviews in Biomedical Engineering. His area of research interests includes – Digital signal/image processing, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, VLSI Signal Processing, Soft Computing, Machine intelligence and AI.

Short Bio-data:
Jayadev Kar (Member IEEE) was born in 1965. He received B.Sc Engg. (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) with HONOURS from UCE, Burla (at present VSSUT) in 1987, MBA in Personnel & Marketing in 1990 from Utkal University, LLB in 1995(UU) and M. Tech in Computer Science (Image Processing) from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore in 2009. He obtained Ph.D. (MIS &HR) degree from Utkal University, Vanivihar, Bhubaneswar in 2006. He was a former Professor, MCA and Dean, PGDM in Regional College of Management, Chakadolavihar, Bhubaneswar, the oldest Management College of the state (Odisha).
He was the former Technical Head of Pathani Samanta Planetarium, Bhubaneswar, the only R & D Institute of Science and Technology Department, Government of Odisha. He has guided many Ph.D. Theses. He has over 20 papers in National Journals and conferences. Dr. Kar is the co-author of 9(nine) books for Vocational Education in the area of Basic Foundation Course, Repair & Maintenance of Radio & TV Engineering and Electrical Engineering Maintenance including Basic Foundation Courses. Prof. Kar is having 37 years of experience dealing with academics, curriculum development, administration, examination, end-to-end management. Dr. Kar is a versatile academic leader with an extensive multidisciplinary background in Engineering, Human Resource Development, Computer Science, Management and Law. Ph.D. in HRD with a specialization in MIS & HR, complemented by 34 years of leadership at a Government Institution(Planetarium), demonstrating exceptional capacity to manage, innovate and educate across various levels. Dr. Kar has conducted thousands of outreach programmes. He is passionate about student-centred curriculum design, informed by ongoing study of student psychology, observational methods, and adaptive pedagogy, contributing better outcomes and institutional growth. Currently, he is working as Director in Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Kantabada, Bhubaneswar-752054, the state of art in STEM.

Prof. Jair Minoro Abe,

Short Bio-data:
Prof. Jair Minoro Abe received B.A. and MSc in Pure Mathematics - University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Also received the Doctor degree and Livre-Docente title from the same University. He is currently coordinator of Logic Area of Institute of Advanced Studies - University of Sao Paulo Brazil and Full Professor at Paulista University - Brazil. His research interest topics include Paraconsistent Annotated Logics and AI, ANN in Biomedicine and Automation, among others. He is Senior Member of IEEE. Professor Abe is a studious of a family of Paraconsistent Annotated Logic which is used to solve many complex problems in engineering. He has authored/edited books on Paraconsistent and related logic published by Springer Germany and other reputed publishers. He is the recipient of many awards including medals for his academic performance and also received many best articles awards. Professor Abe was the Editor-in-Chief of Publicações da Sociedade Paranaense de Matemática de 1990 - 1994. Presently, Professor Abe serves as Associate Editor and member of the Editorial Board of some journals related to the intelligent systems and applications. Professor Abe has supervised a number of PhD candidates successfully and presented a number of keynote addresses. He has authored/co-authored around 300+ publications including books, research articles, research reports, etc. Professor Abe’s research interests include System design using conventional and Artificial Intelligence techniques, Paraconsistent Annotated Logic, Human factors in Aviation, Intelligent Decision Making, Teaching & Learning practices, and Cognitive Studies.

For the last twelve years, Dr. Anil Kumr Bandrana has been associated with teaching and research. Before joining LMU, he was Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Decision Sciences at the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement, University of Derby, UK. He earned his Ph.D. in Management Science from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India. He did his graduation in Mathematics (Hons) and M.Sc. (Mathematics) from Kurukshetra University, India. He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and qualified National Eligibility Test (NET), in June 2011. He has contributed over 150+ research papers in internationally referred journals, and conferences at the international level. Prof. Andrew W. H. Ip received his PhD from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award ” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Rahul Kumar Jain received his PhD degree from Ritsumeikan University, Shiga, Japan, in 2022. He has been an intern trainee at Tiwaki Co., Ltd., Japan since 2019. He is now working as senior researcher at the College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, Japan. Dr. Bishwa Ranjan Das has completed MSc (Mathematics) and PGDCA from Sambalpur University in the year 1995-1997 and 1998 respectively. He has also completed MCA from IGNOU New Delhi in 2009 and subsequently ME (CSE) from Utkal University in 2012. He has been awarded with Ph.D. in Computer Science and IT from Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada, Odisha, India in 2024. He has more than 24 years of teaching experience with major subjects in Computer Science and Engineering. His research areas are Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics, Machine Translation, Information Retrieval and Sentiment Analysis using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With a career spanning Communicative English, Soft Skills, and Life Skills, Mrs. Mitra's professional journey is marked by significant contributions. As the Associate Dean of Corporate Relations at the Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) Cell of IIMT, she plays an important role in providing outreach research publications, particularly in STEM fields Her academic interests and contributions are extensive, particularly in the field of Behavioral Science.
