GEORGE A. TSIHRINTZIS received the Diploma of Electrical Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (with honors) and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is currently a Professor in The University of Piraeus, Greece and Head of its Department of Informatics. From 2008 to 2016, he also served as the Director of the Graduate Program of Study in “Advanced Computing and Informatics Systems” of the Department. His current research interests include Knowledge- based/Intelligent Software Engineering, Software Personalization, Information Retrieval from Databases, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Decision Theory, and Statistical Signal Processing and their applications in Multimedia Interactive Services, User Modeling, Knowledge-based Software Systems, Human-Computer Interaction and Information Retrieval. He has authored or co-authored over 300 research publications in these areas, which have appeared in international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, and has served as the principal investigator or co-investigator in several R&D projects. He has supervised 10 doctoral students who have received their doctoral degrees and is currently supervising an additional 5 students.

Dr Mahadeo Jaiswal is the Founding Director of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur. Prior to this he was Professor in Information Systems and Dean (Research) at MDI, Gurgaon. His qualifications include PGPX from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA; PhD in Computer Science from Delhi University and Sr. Fulbright Fellow from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Recently, he has also been conferred an honorary degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) by Sangam University. He has been Visiting Professor at IIM Ahmedabad, University of California, USA and Rotterdam School of Management, NL. His area of expertise includes Innovation Strategy for Start-ups, Digital Innovation & Platform Eco Systems, Social Entrepreneurship, eGovernment, ERP and IT Strategy. He has published more than 100 research papers and Cases in International Journals and He is author of 7 books in Information Systems and Digital Strategy. He has pioneered in introducing Flipped Classroom as learning pedagogy in India.
He has been engaged as Management Consultant on ERP and Digital Strategy for several large organizations such as Coal India Ltd (CIL)., Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), POWERGRID, Rural Electrification Corporation, NTPC-SAIL, Asian Development Bank, SJVN Ltd., HP Power Generation/Distribution/Transmission, Cochin International Airport, etc. He was associated in developing Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for IT and ITES at Carnegie Mellon University, USA during 2004-5 and was Visiting Professor at Rotterdam Business School, NL during 2001-3 where he developed e-Business simulation game as part of European Union funded large research project. He drafted policy document on “ICT Strategy for Indian Manufacturing Competitiveness” for DIPP, Government of India. He has been member of several expert committee of GOI and Industry.

Prof. Anupam Sukla,

Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Shukla took over the charge of Director of SVNIT, Surat on 30/06/2022. Prior to joining SVNIT, Surat, Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Shukla was the Director of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune. He is the Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior and a visiting faculty at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak. He has 31 years of administrative, research, and teaching experience. He is globally renowned for his research on artificial intelligence, which has won him several academic accolades and resulted in collaborations with academicians across the world. He is the author of four books, published by international publishers such as CRC Press, USA & Springer-Verlag, Berlin, 182 peer-reviewed publications, editor of four books published by IGI Global Press, USA and mentor of 123 doctorate and post graduate theses. He has successfully completed 13 government-sponsored projects worth Rs. 10 Crores, aimed at developing IT applications for Indian farmers, skill of the Indian youth, infrastructure at parent institutes etc. He is currently a nominated expert member of the accreditation committee of National Board of Accreditation, Government of India, Member of Project Review & Steering Group (PRSG) at Diety, New Delhi. He was the Member of the Board of Governors at ABV- IIITM, Gwalior. At NIT Raipur, he was the founding Head of the Department of departments of biomedical engineering and Computer Science and engineering and the founding coordinator of the Chhattisgarh-IIT Kanpur Knowledge Sharing Program, a first of its kind e-learning program in India.

Prof. Paulo Canas Rodrigues,

Paulo Canas Rodrigues obtained his PhD in Statistics at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2012), and his Aggregation (Habilitation) in Mathematics, specialization in Statistics and Stochastic Processes, at Universidade de Lisboa (2019). He is currently a professor in the Statistics Department at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He has published more than 70 scientific papers, in collaboration with more than 90 co-authors from 20 countries and has extensive experience in editorial activities. Paulo was Vice-President of the International Association for Business and Industrial Statistics between 2009 and 2013 and was the founder and Chairman of the Latin American Regional Section of the International Association for Statistical Computing between 2017 and 2019. Among other activities, he is currently the President of the Brazilian Region of the International Biometric Society, Member of the Representative Council of the International Biometric Society, Principal Investigator of the Statistical Learning Laboratory, Chair of the Special Interest Group on Data Science of the International Statistical Institute, and President-Elect of the International Association for Business and Industrial Statistics.

Prof. Srikanta Patnaik is Director of I.I.M.T., Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999. He has supervised more than 30 Ph. D. Theses and 100 Master theses in the area of Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published around 100 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and 55 edited volumes and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc.. Dr. SrikantaPatnaik is the Editors-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and, Editor of Journal of Information and Communication Convegence Engineering and Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (JIFS), which are all Scopus Index journals.
