Image Processing and Vision Science is an intersection of technological innovation and scientific exploration. Image processing involves manipulating digital images to enhance, analyze, or extract information. It plays a crucial role in various fields like medicine, astronomy, and robotics, enabling advancements such as medical image analysis, space exploration, and autonomous navigation. Vision Science explores into understanding how humans and animals perceive visual information. It encompasses the study of visual perception, visual processing in the brain, and the development of visual technologies. Vision Science's applications are vast, ranging from designing user-friendly interfaces to developing assistive technologies for the visually impaired. Together, Image Processing and Vision Science form a dynamic pair which drives progress in areas like computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. They enable us to create sophisticated algorithms for object recognition, image classification, and scene understanding. Moreover, these disciplines contribute to advancements in virtual reality, augmented reality, and immersive technologies, shaping the future of human-computer interaction and sensory experiences.
The International Conference on Image Processing and Vision Science (ICIPVS-2025) provide a platform for researchers, academics, industry professionals, and practitioners to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and showcase innovative solutions in image analysis, computer vision, and related areas. The scope of ICIPVS-2025 encompasses a wide range of topics, including but not limited to image enhancement, segmentation, pattern recognition, machine learning for vision applications, medical image analysis, remote sensing, robotics vision, and augmented reality. It also covers interdisciplinary areas such as human vision, perception, and cognitive science, highlighting the intersection between technology and human understanding of visual information.
