IRENA-2024

International Conference on Integration of Renewable Energy-Efficient Networks and its Applications (IRENA) is going to be organised for the first time by Interscience Institute of Management & Technology at Bhubaneswar. This will be a unique platform for the scholars, engineers and policy makers to come together and discuss various dimension of renewable energy and its network for better efficiency and distributions.

As on today, there is a growing demand of renewable energy, encompassing diverse options of naturally harnessed power generated sustainably. However, geothermal, wind, solar, and biomass are the most prominent renewable energy sources. Whereas, wind energy utilizes the kinetic energy of moving air masses to drive turbines and generate electricity. Secondly, solar energy, derived from the sun's radiation, is the most abundant and widely accessible renewable energy source. Similarly, Photovoltaic (PV) cells (solar panels) convert sunlight directly into electricity. Another significant energy source is Biomass energy, derived from organic materials and biomass power plants generate renewable energy.

In order to provide the sustainable and uninterrupted supply of energy, all these renewable sources of energy needs to be networked as each renewable energy alternative brings unique advantages and challenges, reflecting the complex interplay of technological integration. Additionally, there are rapid developments in energy storage, intelligent grid management, and ICT enabled technologies are enhancing the reliability and flexibility of renewable energy systems, enabling greater integration into existing energy networks.

The International Conference on Integration of Renewable Energy- Efficient Networks and its Applications (IRENA) is a vital platform for global stakeholders to collaborate and exchange ideas on transitioning towards sustainable energy solutions. With a focus on exploring Renewable Energy- Efficient Networks and addressing the challenges of climate change, IRENA- 2024 aims to drive innovation and accelerate the adoption of clean energy technologies worldwide.
