Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Ali is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Fellow of Institute of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE) UK, a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) UK and Editor in Chief of Emerging Technologies and Materials in Thermal Engineering (Elsevier). He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Materials Science (SEMS), Queen Mary, University of London, United Kingdom. He was a postdoc at Water and Energy Laboratory of University of California at Merced, United States. He has held senior management roles that provided him with holistic insights and oversight of program and departmental leadership. Recently, he has been serving as the Associate Professor at Department of Mechanical Engineering, and as Director of Renewable Energy Laboratory at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. His distinguished career spans over 18 years in mechanical engineering and academia.
He is an active researcher in the area of Renewable Energy and Thermal Engineering (Google Scholar: Citations: over 30000 and H-Index: 94) where he holds several international editorial responsibilities and has won several research awards. He is the recipient of Highly Cited Researcher Award in the Field of Engineering by Web of Science Clarivate, which is a highly competitive award and shows the impact of the recipient research work as being top 1% cited papers in the world. Stanford composite score (C-Score) ranks him among the top 20 impactful researchers of the world in categories of energy and mechanical engineering. He is the recipient of prestigious awards such as President Award of Highly Cited Researcher (2021, 2022), Research Excellence Award (2024) by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia and Research Excellence Award (2025) by KFUPM Research Forum. He is the recipient of the “Best Young Research Scholar Award” for 2017 in the Engineering category, conferred by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan at the 7th HEC Outstanding Research Award Ceremony

Prof. Andrew W. H. Ip received his PhD from Loughborough University (U.K.), MBA from Brunel University (U.K.), MSc in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University (U.K.), and LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton (U.K.). Dr Ip was awarded in 2015 “Gold Medal with the Congratulations of Jury” and “Thailand Award for Best International Invention” in the 43rd International Exhibition of Geneva, and he was awarded the “Natural Science Award” in 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards by the Ministry of Education of Mainland China. Dr. Ip is visiting professor of Civil Aviation University of China, South China Normal University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Honorary Fellow of the University Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group. He is Professor Emeritus and adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Saskatchewan and principal research fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a chartered engineer, senior member of IEEE and member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and members of various professional bodies in mechanical and electrical engineering. He is Editor in Chief of the journal of Enterprise Information System (SCI index), Taylor & Francis; Founder & Editor in Chief of International Journal of Engineering Business Management (ESCI & SCOPUS index), SAGE.

Dr. K.P. Maity is currently acting as Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela and having more than 40 years of teaching and research. Conducted two National Conferences and one International Conference with a post conference workshop on Nanotechnology. Conducted three short term courses for Industry executives. Guided 18 Ph D, three M.Tech(Res), more than 40 M.Tech projects and around 100 B.Tech projects. Currently guiding seven Ph D students. Areas of specialisations include modelling of machining and forming, micro-machining, micro-forming, additive manufacturing, hot-machining, laser-machining, plasma-cutting. Visited United Kingdom, Sweden, New-Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Italy, Tawian, France, Singapore, Solvenia, Canada, Dubai, Germany, USA for participating in International Conference, Training and as Visiting Professor. Received Mukherjee Memorial Gold Medal, Orissa Engineering Congress Gold Medal, Certificate for Gold Medal for best paper in Indian Institute of Metals.

Professor (Dr.) Debi Prasad Tripathy is working as HOD & Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela since 2008. He worked as Head, Mining Engg. during 2010-2012 and 2017-2019. He obtained his B.E.(Mining Engg.) from VNIT, Nagpur; M. Tech. from I.T., BHU; and Ph.D. from ISM, Dhanbad. He did PG Dip. in Ecology and Environment (IIEE, New Delhi); Master of Financial Management (Pondicherry) and PG Dip. in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (Annamalai). He has published significant number of research and technical papers in reputed International and National Journals and Conferences and authored 7 books. His areas of teaching and research interests are: Mine environment and Safety engineering, Noise Pollution, Environmental Impact Assessment and Management, Mine Planning, Financial Management and Computer Applications in Mining Industry. He is an active member of several professional bodies: Chartered Engg. and FIE (I), FUWA, FISRMTT, LISTE, MMGMI and LMEAI. He has visited USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, Botswana and Singapore on various academic assignments. He has undertaken MOEF sponsored International Training EMCBTA Project: World Bank at UNSW, Sydney in 2004 and Disposal and Management of Coal Combustion Residues at SIUC, Carbondale, IL, USA. Dr. Manas Ranjan Senapati is an accomplished academician with extensive experience in higher education and research. He previously served as the Dean of Computer Applications and Science at Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. Currently, he holds the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry at Trident Academy of Technology, Bhubaneswar. He earned his doctoral degree from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 1993 as the youngest PhD awardee at the age of 24. He also did his post-doctoral research as CSIR Research Associate. His areas of interest include climatology, green & sustainable chemistry. He has published more than fifty research papers in national and international journals of repute. He also contributes popular science articles for national and regional newspapers and magazines (Kurukshetra, Yojana, Outlook, Down To Earth, Odisha Review etc.). He has chaired technical sessions in national and international conferences. Dr. Senapati is Mentor of Change for Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog Govt. of India. Dr. Senapati is life member of many academic bodies and professional societies such as New York Academy of Sciences, Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Science Congress Association, Odisha Environmental Society & Odisha Bigyan Academy. Dr. Senapati has been chosen for distinguished standing and has been conferred with an honorary appointment to the Research Board of Advisors by the American Biographical Institute. Dr. Senapati’s biographical profile has been included in the 6th edition of Marquis Who’s Who in Science and Engineering of America. He has been conferred with many awards which include Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhabana Award, Nagar Bandhu Samman and Rajdhani Shree Samman as noted Educationist, Scientist and Environmentalist. As a noted environmentalist Dr. Senapati has received Prakruti Bandhu Award and Biju Patnaik Award for wildlife conservation from Dept. of Forest, Environment & Climate Change of Govt. of Odisha. Dr. Senapati has authored many text books which include Environmental Studies published by Cengage, USA and Advanced Engineering Chemistry published by Laxmi Publications, New Delhi and Jones and Bartlett Publishers, Massachusetts, USA. The Text book Advanced Engineering Chemistry authored by him is listed in libraries of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other leading universities of the world. The important and current relevance of his work is amply reflected in the large number of citations.

Dr. Bankim Chandra Tripathy is a distinguished Senior Scientist at CSIR-IMMT and an Assistant Professor at AcSIR, with a specialization in hydro- and electrometallurgy. Born on February 28, 1970, Dr. Tripathy has an impressive academic background, including a PhD in Chemistry, with a focus on Applied Electrochemistry, earned in 2000. His prolific research career boasts 52 publications in SCI journals, 22 conference presentations, and three patents, underscoring his significant contributions to the field. He has guided five PhD scholars and serves as a reviewer for leading journals, including the Journal of Applied Electrochemistry and Hydrometallurgy. Dr. Tripathy’s research interests span a wide range of areas, including the treatment of waste materials, electrowinning, synthesis of battery-grade materials, and the application of ionic liquids in metallurgical processes. He has received several accolades, such as the CSIR-UGC Fellowship and international fellowships in Australia and South Africa, reflecting his global research impact. His work has advanced innovative methodologies for CO2 sequestration and alumina production from non-bauxitic materials. In his professional career, Dr. Tripathy has led and contributed to numerous significant projects, including those focused on metal recovery and technological innovations in the mining and metallurgical industries. He is also an active member of esteemed organizations like the Indian Institute of Metals and the Orissa Chemical Society. With his extensive expertise and dedication, Dr. Tripathy continues to make transformative contributions to the field of materials science and environmental sustainability.

Prof. (Dr.) Himanshu Sekhar Moharana is currently working as HOD Mechanical Engineering & Director (R&D) in Interscience Institute of Management and Technology, Bhubaneswar. Prior to this he had worked in the capacity of a Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Dean Academics in HIT, Khurda, Dean Research in DRIEMS, Cuttack and GIFT, Bhubaneswar. He passed his Master of Engineering. (Hons) from NITTTR, Chandigarh (Now NITTTR University) under Thapar University, Patiala and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Utkal University working, Bhubaneswar. He passed his LLB and LLM in Labour laws from MS Law College (Now MS Law University) Cuttack, Odisha and MBA in Operations Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. He has 33 years of longstanding experience in Industry and Academia inclusive of 18 years of Research and Consultancy. He has guided many M.Tech and a Ph.D.scholar. He is a trainer of MSME, Govt. of India and deliver talks on specialized training programmes of Materials and Production Management by the said Organisation. He worked as a Committee Member of OSC, IE (I), Bhubaneswar for session 2010-2012. He has published many papers in International/ National Journals of repute, many of them are Scopus/ SCI indexed and presented many Research papers in National/ International Seminars/Conferences as Keynote speaker and organized a numerous FDPs. He is an eloquent speaker in the domain of Additive Manufacturing, Rapid Prototyping, Supply Chain Management etc. During his career, he has been awarded with 12 (twelve) number of State Awards for his contribution in the field of research in Engineering and Technology. He is a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), Member of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, a Senior Member of 4M Society of India & Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education.
