Career Guidance Programme

A Career Guidance Programme will be organised to provide students with information and guidance on emerging career opportunities across various technology domains, including:

• Computer Science
• Data Science
• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
• Cyber Security

The programme will help students understand emerging career pathways, skill requirements, and opportunities in technology-driven fields. IDEATHON-2026

Ideation to Implementation Programme: An Ideation to Implementation Programme will be organised for engineering college students. The programme will encourage students to transform innovative ideas into practical solutions by providing an opportunity to explore concepts, develop ideas, and understand their implementation in real-world contexts. The competition will be conducted in the presence of a panel of judges, comprising of 2/3 faculty members nominated by the participant institute/Department and One faculty representative from IIMT, Bhubaneswar. The evaluation criteria shall be shared with Participant Institute in due course of time.

As a token of appreciation and encouragement:

• The two best IDEAS from students will be awarded Certificates and Prizes.
• The Winner and Runner-up of the competition will be invited to participate in the Grand Finale, which will be organized at IIMT Campus, Bhubaneswar, during the 1st week of November 2026.
• The Winner and Runner-up will be provided Travelling Allowance (TA) as per applicable BPUT norms, subject to the applicable rules and conditions.

Competition on AI & ML Tools for Diploma Students

A dedicated AI & ML Tools Competition will be organised for diploma students. The competition will provide participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding and practical application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools. It will encourage students to explore emerging technologies through hands-on learning, problem-solving, and technology-based innovation.
