MBA course curriculum is designed in a way that there is a combination of both theoretical and practical aspects; wherein classroom sessions and seminars take care of the theoretical knowledge and internships and workshops provide candidates with industrial exposure and real-time problems making them industry-ready.

Prof. Pramod Kumar Prusty is the Dean of IIMT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He was the former HOD in Revenshaw University , Cuttack ,Odisha .He has received his PhD degree from Utkal University, Vani Vihar on Accounting and Finance based topic. He has supervised five PhD Scholars. He is the Author of 35 Research Articles and 3 Test Books i.e., Management Accounting, Cost Accounting and also Advanced Cost and Management Accounting which are useful for CA , CMA and MBA Students. He has supervised more than 300 Projects in different Disciplines. Prof. Prusty has Chaired as Key Note Speaker in many Conferences within the Country. During his Professional Career Prof. Prusty has performed his job as a successful Academician and Administrator around 40 years in different Government Autonomous Colleges including Ravenshaw College and also in different reputed Educational Institutions as Professor and Dean of Commerce.

Dr. Jayadev Kar is a distinguished academician and administrator with a robust background in human resource development, management, and multidisciplinary education. With an MBA in Personnel and Marketing from Utkal University and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development with specialization in MIS & HR, Dr. Kar has over three decades of influential experience in academia, leadership, and institutional development. His extensive contributions span across student-centric curriculum design, research, and administrative innovation. Formerly a Professor and Dean at the Regional College of Management, Bhubaneswar, and Technical Head at Pathani Samanta Planetarium, he has guided numerous Ph.D. theses and authored multiple books in vocational education. Currently serving as Director at Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Kar continues to drive academic excellence and institutional progress through outreach, scholarship, and strategic academic leadership.

Mr. Subhajit Raul,

He has completed M.Com. From Utkal University. He has a total of 20 years of experience, 12 years’ experience in academic and 8 years in the corporate sector. He has 12 years of teaching experience in the field of Finance and Accounting. His areas of expertise include Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, Financial Markets, Institutions & Services and International Financial Management. His Research interest includes banking efficiency, financial markets and financial derivatives markets and rural finance. He has attended and presented research papers in many national conferences/seminars. He has worked as a Asst Prof (HOD) for 1.5 Years in The Department of IMBA at BJB Autonomous college. Dr. Satyajit Sahu is a seasoned academic professional with over 35 years of expertise in finance and business administration. As an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration, he combines his diverse academic background—holding advanced degrees in mathematics (M.Sc., Ph.D.), law (LL.B), and finance (MBA)—to offer a multidimensional approach to financial studies. His research contributions include six publications in international journals, showcasing his dedication to academic scholarship. In addition, Dr. Sahu has successfully undertaken a research and development project, further solidifying his commitment to advancing financial knowledge. Based in Bhubaneswar, he remains actively involved in academia, fostering growth through mentorship, scholarly publications, and institutional development.

Mr. Alok Arun ,

Mr. Alok Arun has completed Integrated MBA from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack Odisha in 2019 with specialization in Finance & Financial Markets. He has achieved Level 5 certification from National Stock Exchange (NSE) as “NSE Academy Certified Market Professional (NCMP)” and “NSE Academy Certified Investment Analyst Pro Certification”. He has also several certifications from National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) such as “NISM-Series- VII: Securities operations and Risk Management” and “NISM-Series- X-B: Investment Advisor Module”. He has done certificate course in ‘Use of Python in Finance” and “Tally”. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D. in Finance.

Mrs. Itishree Behera,

Mrs. Itishree Behera holds a master's degree in Finance and Control (MFC) from Kushagra Institute of Information and Management Science, Cuttack under Utkal University Affiliation. She has a wealth of experience in the banking industry, having worked for around 4 years with Axis Bank Ltd. and Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd. In the course of her work, she has obtained the "NISM-V-A Series" and "IRDA" certifications. She is a firm believer in the importance of constant learning and upgrading of skills. She is passionate about teaching and has a keen interest in Financial Management, Financial Markets, Mutual Funds, and Portfolio Management.

Mr. Sankar kumar Nayak,

Mr. Sankar Kumar Nayak have Completed his Master of Arts from Indira Gandhi National open University, New delhi. Now he is an Economics Faculty at IIMT Bhubaneswar, and Asst. Controller of examination. He is also a Member of ISTD Bhubaneswar Chapter. Currently he is pursuing Bachelor’s of education in Yogi Vermana University, Andhra University. He is always dedicated towards his work. His areas of expertise are Micro Economics, Macro economics, International trade. Good communication and Social Networking are his prior skills.

His Extensive experience in Channel sales, sales management, research, design and implementation of marketing strategies to increase business volume and profitability & to launch new product categories in a highly competitive environment. Mr. Pradeep Kumar Baxla,

Pradeep has graduated with honors in English from Loyola College, Chennai and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIMT, Bhubaneswar. He was awarded for Best Oratory, Debating and Creative writing by IIMT. After qualifying UGC-NET, he joined IIMT in 2019, as an Assistant Professor in Marketing. He has participated in International and National Seminars and FDPs conducted by AICTE and other reputed Institutions. He is well accepted and appreciated by students. Currently he is also pursuing PhD in Digital Marketing from Utkal University.
