Dr. Ashok Mahapatra is an accomplished leader who has held senior positions in Fortune 500 companies in the USA and UK for 18 years. He holds an MBA from Rutgers University and a B.Tech from NIT Rourkela in Computer Science. He is a member of the National Scholastic Honorary Society Beta-Gamma-Sigma of the USA. He has made significant contributions in Logistics Management Processes, Business Intelligence, and Optimization strategies for Fortune 100 Health Care, Manufacturing, and Logistics Companies. He has also been involved in the development of effective IT systems architecture for companies such as AT&T, United Health, ICICI Infotech, and Fujitsu. In the field of education and research, he believes in holistic grooming of students and nurturing research and innovations at an early stage of life.

Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera is an accomplished academician and IT professional with expertise in Computer Science and Information Technology. He holds an M.Tech from Gandhi Institute for Technology (GIFT), Bhubaneswar, an MCA from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), and a BCA from Sambalpur University. He has also completed a PG Diploma in Advanced Computing (CDAC), Bangalore. He qualified the UGC-NET in Computer Science in 2018, making him eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.

Mrs. Madhusmita Pati is a dedicated academician in the field of Computer Science with expertise in programming, database management, software engineering, and emerging technologies. She holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Gandhi Institute for Education and Technology (GIET), BaniaTangi, Khordha, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Gayatri Degree College, Keonjhar under North Odisha University.

Prior to joining IIMT, she served as an Assistant Professor in the MCA Department at GIET, BaniaTangi. She has actively participated in academic and professional development activities, including delivering resource lectures on digital teaching and learning methodologies. Er. Radha Mohan Rout is a seasoned Electrical Engineering professional with over 35 years of experience in Power Systems, Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Power Trading, and Utility Operations. He retired as Director (Utilities), Military Engineer Services (MES), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, after a distinguished career in planning, execution, and management of major electrical infrastructure projects across the country. He holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from UCE Burla (VSSUT), M.Tech. in Power Systems Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and M.Sc. in Defence & Strategic Studies from the University of Madras. A BEE Accredited Energy Manager, he has extensive expertise in power procurement, regulatory compliance, energy auditing, and renewable energy integration.

As a Professor of Practice in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, he brings valuable industry insights, leadership experience, and practical knowledge to enrich engineering education and bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Mr. Harisankar Panda is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IIMT, Bhubaneswar. He holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Silicon University, Bhubaneswar, and possesses expertise in Python programming, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Database Management Systems, Cloud Computing, and Data Visualization. Ms. Sipali Das is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Bhubaneswar. Jayadev Kar (Member IEEE) was born in 1965. He received B.Sc Engg. (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) with HONOURS from UCE, Burla (at present VSSUT)in 1987, MBA in Personnel & Marketing in 1990 from Utkal University, LLB in 1995(UU) and M. Tech in Computer Science (Image Processing) from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore in 2009. He obtained Ph.D. (MIS &HR) degree from Utkal University, Vanivihar, Bhubaneswar in 2006. He was a former Professor, MCA and Dean, PGDM in Regional College of Management, Chakadolavihar, Bhubaneswar, the oldest Management College of the state (Odisha). He was the former Technical Head of Pathani Samanta Planetarium, Bhubaneswar, the only R & D Institute of Science and Technology Department, Government of Odisha. He has guided many Ph.D. Theses. He has over 20 papers in National Journals and conferences. Dr. Kar is the co-author of 9(nine) books for Vocational Education in the area of Basic Foundation Course, Repair & Maintenance of Radio & TV Engineering and Electrical Engineering Maintenance including Basic Foundation Courses. Prof. Dr. Srikanta Patnaik is the Chairman of Interscience Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT), Bhubaneswar, and a distinguished academician, researcher, author, and academic administrator with extensive experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Computing, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Robotics, and Soft Computing. He has been serving as Director of IIMT Bhubaneswar since October 2022.

Prof. Patnaik holds a Ph.D. in Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Jadavpur University, along with a B.Sc. (Engineering) and MBA from Sambalpur University. His academic career spans several reputed institutions, including U.C.E., Burla; Fakir Mohan University; IIMT Bhubaneswar; and SOA University, Bhubaneswar, where he has held various academic and leadership positions.

Rutuparna Panda (Member IEEE) was born in 1963. He received B.Sc Engg. (Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) and M. Sc. Engg. (Communication Systems Engineering) Degrees from UCE Burla in 1985 and 1988, respectively. He obtained Ph.D. (Engg) degree from IIT, KGP in 1998. He is a former Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, VSS University of Technology, Burla. He was the former HOD ECE Dept., HOD CSE Dept., DEAN, Academic Affairs, DEAN, SRIC, and DEAN Continuing Education Programme. He has guided 38 M.Tech. Theses and 10 Ph.D. Theses. He has over 200 papers in International/National Journals and conferences. Dr. Panda has more than 4000 academic citations with h-index of 35 and i10-index of 70 as per google scholar. He is the co-author of two books titled “AI Techniques for Biomedical Engineering Applications” and “Region based Approaches for Image Fusion”. He is the co-author of 8 Book Chapters. Currently, Dr. Panda is serving as an associate editor of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (EAAI). He is a member of IEEE and a Fellow of IETE(India). Pragyan Prakatita Nayak holds an MTech degree in Computer Science from Utkal University, Vani Vihar, and an MCA degree from the Institute of Management and Information Technology (IMIT), Cuttack. She has served as a lecturer in the MCA department at IMIT, Cuttack, as well as in the ITM department at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. Her areas of interest are Mobile Computing and Network Security.

Biswa Mohan Padhy is an Assistant Professor in the M.Tech CSE (AI & ML) department, with over 15 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence. Holding an M.Tech and MCA, he has been actively involved in academic research and education, shaping the next generation of AI professionals. Prof. Sharma is an MCA from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He is known for his state-of-the-art skills in Web Designing, Networking and System Administration. Dr. Umaranjan Jena is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) with over 35 years of experience. Prior to joining IIMT Bhubaneswar, Prof. Sethi served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla. Prof. S.P. Patra has received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, UCE Burla (presently V.S.S.U.T., Burla) 1985 and M.Tech in Industrial Power Control & Drives, IGIT Sarang, in the year 2013 and subsequently compelted his Diploma in Management, from IGNOU, in the year 1991. He has started his career as GET in 1986 at National Aluminium Company Limited and worked in captive Power Plant of 1200 MW installed capacity as Operation engineers in the area of boiler, turbine, generator and balance of plant from 1986 to 2000. Subsequently, he worked in Electrical maintenance department having exposure to all types of equipments in a power plant from 2001 to 2023 and superannuated as General Manager(Electrical). His work experience spanned over Bauxite Mines with capacity of 7.5 MMT and headed Electrical department from 2019 to 2020. He has experience in installation and commissioning of various power plant electrical equipments, conveyor system, distributed control system, PLC and SCADA. He was involved in implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 and OSHA.

He has Core Competency in statistical problem solving and industrial data analysis. He has taken training on Operation and Maintenance of Thermal Power Station with Simulator training at Power Engineers Training Society from 21.04.1986 to 05.12.1986. Dr. Sukanta Kumar Senapati is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering with over 35 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. Prof. Bibhu Prasad Routray has completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering in 1986 and M.Tech. in Hydraulic & Irrigation Engineering in during 1992 from VSSUT, Burla (formerly known as UCE, Burla). He has served the Department of Soil Conservation as Assistant Engineer during up to 1991, then subsequently served the Department Housing and Urban Development, Govt. of Odisha in different capacity up to 2021. After superannuation, he worked as the state consultant in Voltas Ltd (a TATA venture) till September 2024 and subsequently worked as the consultant with “Autograph Ventures LLP” since October 2024. He is now continuing as Professor of Practice at IIMT, Bhubaneswar.

Prof. Manas Ranjan Mohanty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering with over 10 years of teaching and industry experience. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech, with a specialization in Construction Management and Engineering. Arpita Dutta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Science and Humanities at IIMT Bhubaneswar. She has completed her M.A. in English and has more than one year of teaching experience. With a specialization in English Literature, Arpita focuses on fostering critical thinking and literary appreciation among students. Her academic interests lie in exploring diverse literary texts and engaging students in meaningful discourse. She contributes actively to the department’s efforts in promoting a strong foundation in the humanities.

Ms. Soma Mitra has completed her Masters in Business Administration (HR & F) and M.A (English) from Utkal University, Odisha. She has a rich experience of 7 years in Communicative English, Soft Skills and Life Skills. She is the former Employee at Wipro, Kolkata and Former Trainer at Central Tool Room and Training Center, Bhubaneswar as a Soft Skill Coach and Communicative English Faculty. She has several prizes in Debating at State Level. She has an Appreciation Certificate from Rotary Club as the Best Anchor during 2012. She has portrayed a sound proficiency in Management and English along with leadership abilities. She has passionate interest in the field of Communicative English, Soft Skills and Human Resource Development. She has actively sought career and professional enhancement courses in keeping with current environment needs. She has the tenacity to patiently work through an area of operation, for achieving prudential results.

Prof. Promod Kumar Prusty is the Dean of IIMT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He was the former HOD in Revenshaw University , Cuttack ,Odisha .He has received his PhD degree from Utkal University, Vani Vihar on Accounting and Finance based topic. He has supervised five PhD Scholars. He is the Author of 35 Research Articles and 3 Test Books i.e., Management Accounting, Cost Accounting and also Advanced Cost and Management Accounting which are useful for CA , CMA and MBA Students. He has supervised more than 300 Projects in different Disciplines. Prof. Prusty has Chaired as Key Note Speaker in many Conferences within the Country. During his Professional Career Prof. Prusty has performed his job as a successful Academician and Administrator around 40 years in different Government Autonomous Colleges including Ravenshaw College and also in different reputed Educational Institutions as Professor and Dean of Commerce.

Prof. Debasis Mohapatra an Industry Leader and organizational transformation specialist with over three decades of professional experience across India, South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He possesses extensive expertise in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Strategy, Organizational Development, Change Management, Manpower Planning, and Institution Building. He earned his Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sambalpur University. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at renowned organizations, including Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt. Ltd., Deloitte, Tata Consultancy Services, AES-CESCO, and Coal India. He has also served as a trusted advisor to governments, regulatory authorities, international development agencies, and leading corporate organizations. His professional contributions include leading large-scale organizational restructuring, HR transformation, workforce transition, and corporate governance reforms. He has successfully designed and delivered more than 100 leadership development and capacity-building programmes focusing on behavioural change, competency mapping, and performance excellence. His international consulting assignments have covered countries such as Sri Lanka, Nepal, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania (Zanzibar), and the United Arab Emirates, where he has supported institutional strengthening and organizational capability development. Debasis Mohapatra is widely recognized for translating complex organizational challenges into practical and sustainable management solutions that enhance institutional performance. He remains deeply committed to mentoring future leaders, promoting evidence-based management practices, and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry through applied research and professional engagement.

Mr. Alok Arun has completed Integrated MBA from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack Odisha in 2019 with specialization in Finance & Financial Markets. He has achieved Level 5 certification from National Stock Exchange (NSE) as “NSE Academy Certified Market Professional (NCMP)” and “NSE Academy Certified Investment Analyst Pro Certification”. He has also several certifications from National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) such as “NISM-Series- VII: Securities operations and Risk Management” and “NISM-Series- X-B: Investment Advisor Module”. He has done certificate course in ‘Use of Python in Finance” and “Tally”. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D. in Finance.

Mr. Sidharth Mohanty joined the Department of MBA at IIMT, Bhubaneswar as an Assistant Professor on 23rd July 2026. He holds an MBA in Energy & Environment from Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune, and a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication from RGPV, Bhopal. He brings over five years of industry experience in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Strategic Planning. His areas of interest include Operations Management, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, and Business Strategy.

Ms. Smita Ray is an experienced HR professional and academician with around ten years of diverse experience in Human Resource Management, Recruitment, Corporate Training, HR Operations, Employee Engagement, and Business Development. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Professor-In-Charge (Training & Placement) at IIMT Bhubaneswar.

She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management. Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong combination of teaching, research, corporate exposure, and institutional leadership. Prior to her academic career, she worked in various professional roles, including HR Executive at Orimark Technology, Business Analyst at GLeaf Solutions, and SAP HCM Consultant at Magna InfoTech. These experiences have provided her with practical expertise in recruitment, employee management, HR operations, corporate training, and organizational development.

She has also served in academic and leadership roles, including Head of Department at BJB Autonomous College and faculty responsibilities in HR and Soft Skills Training at reputed institutions. Her experience in coordinating training programmes, seminars, guest lectures, skill-development activities, and industry-oriented initiatives enables her to effectively connect students with professional and corporate opportunities.

As Professor-In-Charge (Training & Placement), she is committed to strengthening industry–institute interaction, student employability, placement training, internship opportunities, soft-skill development, career counselling, and corporate engagement. Her people-centric approach, analytical mindset, communication skills, and extensive HR experience make her well suited to lead the Training & Placement activities of the Institute.

Mr. P. Sai Shubham is a dedicated academic professional specializing in Marketing and Finance. He holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from United School of Business Management, Bhubaneswar (Academic Year 2020–21) and a BBA LL.B (Hons.) degree from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).

He joined the institute on 28 August 2025 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration / Management. With a multidisciplinary academic background in Business Administration and Law, he brings a practical and analytical approach to management education. His areas of interest include Marketing Management, Financial Management, and Business Strategy.

Mr. Bhanu Sankar Mishra joined the MBA Department of Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Bhubaneswar as an Assistant Professor on 07 October 2024. He completed his B.Sc. degree from Sambalpur University in 1984 and obtained his PGDM from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM). He possesses extensive academic and professional knowledge in the field of management education and is dedicated to nurturing students through practical and value-based learning. His areas of interest include Management Studies, Organizational Development, and Business Administration.

Mr. Jayant Kumar Pattanaik joined the MBA Department of Interscience Institute of Management & Technology, Bhubaneswar as an Assistant Professor on 01 August 2025. He completed his B.E. degree from Sambalpur University in 1994 and obtained his PGDM from IIMT in the year 2025.

He possesses strong academic and professional exposure in the field of management and technical education. His areas of interest include Business Management, Organizational Development, and Professional Studies.

Mr. Dipak Kumar Mishra is serving as an Assistant Professor at Interscience Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT), Bhubaneswar, since 01 August 2025. He holds a PGDM degree from IIMT, Bhubaneswar (2025), a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and has additional professional qualifications in PGDCA, ERP, and Tally.

He possesses knowledge in management, office administration, ERP systems, and accounting applications. Known for his dedication, analytical thinking, and ability to perform effectively under pressure, he is committed to academic excellence and student development. His interests include reading knowledge-based books and playing cricket.

Ms. Madhusmita Jena holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and Marketing from Gandhi Institute for Technology (GIFT) Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar, affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology. She completed her Graduation (Economics Honours) from Fakir Mohan University. She has gained practical exposure through internships in Human Resource Management and Market Research, working with organizations such as Kantar IMRB Pvt. Ltd. and Web Bucket Software Pvt. Ltd.

Her academic interests include Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Employee Engagement, and Marketing Management. She is proficient in MS Office and holds a PGDCA qualification. Dr. Bishwa Ranjan Das has completed MSc (Mathematics) and PGDCA from Sambalpur University in the year 1995-1997 and 1998 respectively. He has also completed MCA from IGNOU New Delhi in 2009 and subsequently ME (CSE) from Utkal University in 2012. He has been awarded with Ph.D. in Computer Science and IT from Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada, Odisha, India in 2024. He has more than 24 years of teaching experience with major subjects in Computer Science and Engineering. His research areas are Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics, Machine Translation, Information Retrieval and Sentiment Analysis using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has published more than fifty research papers, apart from book chapters in various reputed international and national conferences and journals including Scopus, Elsevier, IEEE, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar, and He has attended more than fifty seminars, workshops, FDPs, symposiums, and short-term courses in both online and offline mode at various reputed institutes, colleges, and universities like IIT, NIT, ISI and Central University.

Dr. (Mrs.) Sarada Baboo is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Sambalpur University, located in Odisha, India. She is having an MCA degree from 1983 to 1986 from NIT, Rourkela and a PhD degree in the year 2008 from Sambalpur University. Her area of specialization includes Software Engineering and the Applications of IT in Business Process Reengineering (BPR). Dr. Baboo has over 26 years of teaching experience and has contributed to both academic and research fields, particularly focusing on Software Engineering methodologies and IT applications in Management Information Systems. She has been involved in various research projects and publications in international and national journals and conferences, contributing significantly to her field. She is a life member of the Orissa Mathematical Society and has served on various academic boards and committees at her university. Prior to joining the university, she was serving as a Scientific Officer/Engineer, Grade-SB (DIO) at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Sambalpur under Govt. of India Planning Commission for four years. During this time, she has developed several software systems.

Mrs. Bhagyashree Mohanta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications (MCA). She holds an MCA from BPUT University (2006), an M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from SOA University, Bhubaneswar (2014), and a BCA from BPUT University (2003). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. as a Research Scholar at SOA University, Bhubaneswar. She has professional experience in teaching and training in the fields of Computer Applications and Computer Science and has been associated with IIMT since 01 February 2024.

Mr. Biswa Ranjan Pattanayak is a qualified faculty member with BCA and MCA degrees, specializing in Web Designing, Networking, and System Administration. He is committed to building practical skills among students through structured lab sessions and real-time project engagement. His expertise supports the development of technically sound and industry-ready graduates in the MCA program.

Mr. Kamalakanta Swain joined the Department of MCA as an Assistant Professor on 12 July 2025. He holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree and is committed to fostering academic excellence and student development. With a keen interest in computer applications, information technology, and emerging digital technologies, he strives to create an engaging and practical learning environment for students. His teaching approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, skill enhancement, and industry-oriented learning. Mr. Dibyadarshan Behera is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of MCA since 02 April 2025. He holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Bhubaneswar. His academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Banki Autonomous College. He possesses expertise in programming languages and web technologies such as Python, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, and React.js. His areas of interest include software development, database management, and modern web application development. He is committed to fostering technical skills and practical learning among students while contributing to academic excellence.

Miss Barsarani Pati is a dedicated Computer Science educator with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching and technology. She holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Gandhi Institute for Education and Technology (GIET), Bhubaneswar, and a Bachelor's degree from L.B. Degree College, Jajpur.

Prior to joining IIMT, she worked as a Computer Teacher at DAV Public School, Jajpur, where she taught Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, Internet Applications, and basic Web Technologies. She possesses technical skills in C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DBMS, Computer Networking, and Problem Solving. She has also completed NPTEL certifications in Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and Management Information Systems (MIS), along with a Full Stack Development course.

Her academic interests include Programming, Web Technologies, Database Management Systems, and Emerging Computing Technologies. Miss Pati is committed to creating an engaging, practical, and student-focused learning environment that encourages innovation and technical excellence.
