Dr. Umasankar Das completed his Ph.D in Engineering from National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing (NIAMT) formerly known as the National Institute of Foundry and Forge technology (NIFFT) Ranchi University, Ranchi Jharkhand in 2019 and M.Tech. in Machine Design in 2005 from Bharath University, Channai. He has done is MBA in HRM from Pondicherry University in 2009. He has served over 20 years in the field of Research, Teaching and Industry and still continuing. He is a certified trainer in Indian iron steel sector. Also associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers

Dr. Sukanta Kumar Senapati is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering with over 35 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience. He obtained his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, M.Tech. in Applied Mechanics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Burla (presently VSSUT). He has served in various prestigious positions including Professor & Head of Mechanical Engineering, Dean (Grievance Cell), Dean (Faculty Affairs, Consultancy and Research), and Dean, FARC at Government institutions in Odisha. He has guided several Ph.D. scholars and M.Tech. students and published more than 30 research papers in reputed international journals. His areas of specialization include Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering. He is a Life Member of ISTE and the Institution of Engineers (India).

Prof. Manoraj Jena is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with over 35 years of extensive experience in the field. He holds a B.E. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from BITS-Pilani and is certified by DuPont for Safety Engineering and Practices. His area of specialization is Industrial Engineering, and he has successfully undertaken more than 10 R&D projects. Mr. Jena’s vast experience and industry-aligned expertise greatly enrich the academic environment of the department.

Mr. Soumya Ranjan Baliarsingh, M.Tech (Mechanical Engineering), obtained his M.Tech degree from Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Bhubaneswar, under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha, during the Academic Year 2017-18. He joined Interscience Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT), Bhubaneswar as an Assistant Professor on 03 December 2025 and is actively involved in teaching, academic administration and student development activities

Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sahoo joined Interscience Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT), Bhubaneswar as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 19th July 2026. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Krupajal Engineering College, Bhubaneswar and an M.Tech in Thermal Engineering from NIT Silchar. He has over 14 years of academic and professional experience in engineering education and administration.

His areas of teaching include Thermal Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Production Engineering, Engineering Materials, Theory of Machines, Power Plant Engineering, and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. He has served as Assistant Professor at reputed institutions including MIET, GIET, DRIEMS University and VIT, Balasore, besides holding administrative responsibilities such as Cultural Secretary, Examination Section In-Charge and Head of the Department.

Mr. Sahoo has published research papers in international conferences and journals in the fields of Thermal Hydraulics and Heat Transfer. He possesses hands-on expertise in ANSYS (Fluent, CFX & Transient Thermal), AutoCAD, and engineering simulation tools. His academic interests focus on innovative design, thermal systems, and industry-oriented technical education.
