AICTE Notifications -IIMT, Bhubaneswar

AICTE Notice Board

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform that the Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, Government of India, vide its communication dated 30 March 2026, has requested all Higher Educational Institutions to actively support and promote the Self-Enumeration (SE) Portal under the House Listing and Housing Census 2026 initiative.

The Self-Enumeration (SE) process is a citizen-centric digital initiative that enables households to submit their Census details securely and conveniently through the official portal:

https://se.census.gov.in

The portal allows any adult member of a household to complete self-enumeration within approximately 15–20 minutes during the notified 15-day window prior to the House-to-House Enumeration phase. Upon successful submission, a unique Self-Enumeration ID (SE ID) will be generated, which must be retained and shared with the Enumerator during field verification.

In this regard, you are requested to take the following actions on priority:

• Widely disseminate information about the SE portal among faculty members, staff, students, and their families.
• Encourage maximum participation in Self-Enumeration during the notified period for the respective State/UT.
• Promote awareness through institutional emails, websites, notice boards, and internal communication channels.
• Sensitize officials and staff regarding the importance of preserving and sharing the generated SE ID during enumeration.

This initiative is an important step toward digitally empowered governance and efficient Census operations. Active participation from educational institutions will significantly contribute to accurate, transparent, and timely Census data collection.

You are requested to accord highest priority to this matter and ensure maximum outreach within your institution.
