Governing Body

The Governing Body is the highest policy-making and decision-making authority of the Interscience Institute of Management & Technology (IIMT, Bhubaneswar). It provides strategic direction for the overall growth and development of the institution and ensures that academic, administrative, financial, and infrastructural activities are carried out in accordance with the norms and regulations of AICTE, BPUT, and other statutory bodies.

The Governing Body periodically reviews the performance of the institution and guides the institute in achieving excellence in teaching, research, innovation, industry collaboration, student development, and community engagement.

Functions of the Governing Body

1. Formulation of institutional policies and strategic plans.
2. Review of academic and administrative performance.
3. Approval of annual budget and financial planning.
4. Promotion of quality assurance and accreditation activities.
5. Monitoring compliance with AICTE, BPUT, and Government regulations.
6. Encouragement of research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry interaction.
7. Review of faculty development, infrastructure development, and student welfare initiatives.

Composition of the Governing Body

The Governing Body comprises representatives from management, academia, industry, university, faculty, and administration to ensure effective governance and holistic institutional development.

The Governing Body meets periodically to review institutional progress and take strategic decisions for continuous improvement and academic excellence.
