National Seminar on Recent Global Economic Scenario: Future and Prospects

The World economic meltdown has become the burning topic and has spread its wings around the world. From Boom to Gloom or Doom has become a billion dollar question. With this background, the institute wanted to churn the subject further. The seminar was conducted in the campus on 11.11.2009 with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Sri Chalpathy, Deputy General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Bhubaneswar. At the beginning the Chairman & Founder Director of the Interscience Group welcomed the Guests and gave his opening remarks. Sri S K Sahoo, AGM, CESU was the Chief Speaker of the morning session. In the afternoon session Prof. Ranjan Bal, Professor MFC, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and Sri Debraj Biswal, CEO, Bhubaneswar Stock Exchange were the Chief Guest and Chief Speaker. All the luminaries presented their views on the meltdown and suggested various measures to fight it out. At the end, the vote of thanks and concluding remarks was delivered by Prof. Ajaya Kumar Mohanty, Registrar, who coordinated the whole event.
